Categories of Care
Emergency Care. Hosanna's foster parents are certified to welcome children who have been removed from their home on an emergency basis, meaning they may be returning home within a few days.
Long-term Care. Children who will not be returning home and will not be adopted are placed with foster parents for an un-fixed amount of time.
Fost-Adopt. Foster children who will not be returning home and have no relatives able to provide care, need permanency and possible adoption. These children are placed in foster homes where the families are open to possible adoption. These children are typically older than 18 months.
Intensive
Treatment.
Hosanna is
licensed to certify foster families to care for children requiring intensive
treatment. These are children who are seriously emotionally disturbed and
deserve extra love and attention so they don't have to be moved to a group home
or receive even more intensive treatment.
The
Hosanna foster family that is certified to care for these children receives 60
hours of additional special training and are reimbursed at a higher rate. These
children need the extra care, and Hosanna needs parents with a special calling
to this rewarding area of ministry.
